Visit the team at Buzz active and hire paddle boards, kayaks or canoes to enjoy the meandering waters of the Cuckmere river first hand. Available to rent all year round, but don't worry, wetsuits are provided!
The water here is excellent for swimming and can be best enjoyed form Birling Gap on a calm day. When the tide is out, there is a stretch of sand beyond the pebbles and during low tide you can avoid the spiky rocks underfoot. These are the best times to swim, so check in advance. https://www.tidetimes.org.uk/eastbourne-tide-times
